Counselling for stress

When pressure begins
to feel overwhelming.

One-to-one online counselling can give you space to understand the pressures you are carrying, how they are affecting you and what may help. Sessions with Sobia Kiran are available by audio or video.

Understanding stress

Stress is human.
It can still feel heavy.

Stress is a natural response to challenges and demands. Some pressure can help us respond to a situation, but too much stress—or stress that continues for a long time—can affect both mental and physical wellbeing.

People respond to stress differently. It may come from one difficult event or build gradually across work, study, finances, health, relationships, caring responsibilities or major life changes.

How counselling may help

Make sense of the pressure
and find a way forward.

Counselling cannot remove every difficult circumstance. It can offer a focused, supportive place to understand your responses and develop ways of coping that fit your situation.

01

Understand the pressure

Explore what is contributing to stress and notice patterns in thoughts, emotions, physical responses and behaviour.

02

Build coping skills

Depending on your needs, sessions may draw on CBT, mindfulness and practical problem-solving approaches.

03

Choose realistic steps

Clarify priorities, boundaries and manageable changes that may support your wellbeing over time.
